By now, you must have heard that all your Sheep Pens have Organic Potential. Once unlocked, you’ll gain access to the wonderful Organic Research Tree, which offers many boosts for your Sheep Pen and your farm!

Expect more resources from harvests, reduced feed consumption, fewer workers needed, and benefits for neighboring buildings… Let’s dive into Organic Research!

For now, the Sheep Pen is the only building with Organic Potential. But don’t worry—it will be added to other buildings in the future, helping your farm bloom into an organic paradise!

You can unlock the organic potential on any sheep pen—even at level 1!

Each Sheep Pen has its own Organic Research Tree and set of boosts.

To unlock the tree, you’ll need an Organic Research License, which you can purchase at the Reward Center for 80,000 Golden Apples.

Get your first organic research license!

Once you’ve got your license, head back to your sheep pen, click the lock node, then click “Unlock now!” and let the magic happen!

Boom! Your sheep awaken to their organic potential!

Discover the Organic Research Tree, with its three different branches. Each branch has a set of boosters and perks for your Sheep Pen and for your farm!

That’s fine and dandy, but all these research nodes are still locked, and not doing much for us as of now.

To unlock each individual node, and the subsequent booster, you will need a new currency: Organic Coins (stables). Purchasing them is easy: you can also get them from the Reward Center! For 47,500 Golden Apples, you will get 1,400 of them!

Some new event might also offer them as rewards, like our new Tailgating Event, coming out end of August… Oh wait, I wasn’t supposed talk about that one yet! 😉
Don’t worry, we will release more information about it very soon!

In general, your main way of getting Organic Coins will be from collecting Golden Apples during events and exchanging them for coins.

Congrats! You unlocked a research node!

Each node you unlock will allow you to unlock the following nodes on the same branch.

Short on Organic Coins? We’ve got you covered! You can also unlock each node with gold.

We were feeling fancy and unlocked this one with gold even though we had coins – but that was for science!

If you don’t want to wait at all for the Organic Coins to pile up, you can also purchase everything with gold at once!

Now we’re feeling extra fancy – quite convenient!

Each of the nodes will grant you specific bonuses – let’s explore each of them, branch per branch with some handy infographics!

Some of these boosts might prompt you to rethink your farm’s layout to fully capitalize on their benefits.

For instance, the ‘Grazing Sheep’ boost reduces the edge plant malus on your fields, and ‘All-organic’ enhances your neighboring Organic buildings—those that have already unlocked Organic Potential. Currently, this applies only to the sheep pen, but keep an eye out as more buildings are slated to gain Organic Potential in the future! These changes might require a fresh approach to how you arrange your farm, but the enhanced production will definitely make it worthwhile.
