Goodgame Empire Changelog

26.05.2026

New Content

  • Berimond Kingdom Advisor — A new Advisor is now available for the Berimond Kingdom event. Inspired by the Nomad and Samurai Advisors, this faction-neutral Barbarian Cartographer automates attack planning against Berimond towers, reducing repetitive manual effort during the event. Each player receives one free trial run; additional sessions require a Berimond Advisor Token. While the Advisor is active, your entire camp receives a morale bonus, boosting the strength of your attacks and defenses. Gallantry Points earned through the Advisor are tracked separately and displayed on the Advisor overview and summary screens. Available to Lions and Bears alike, with visuals tailored to your faction.

  • Summer Sales — June 2026 — New seasonal content arrives as part of the Summer initiative (June 16 – July 4), featuring fresh items available through in-game offers, the Seasonal Gacha, and promotional offers.

  • Seasonal Gacha: Summer June — The Summer Gacha returns with a refreshed and rebalanced reward pool for June. Updated loot includes new Summer 2026 content.

  • News Hub — A new in-game access point is now available to keep you up to date with the latest news and announcements. Look for the new icon in the settings bar (Empire: Four Kingdoms) / top-right navigation (Goodgame Empire), as well as a new Bulletin Board in your castle’s world view. Clicking either opens a full-screen overlay with the latest news directly within the game.

Improvements

  • [E4K] Attack Screen Bonus Display — Equipment bonuses from recently added tools are now correctly shown in the attack screen summary before sending troops. Previously, these bonuses were applied during battle but not visible in the pre-attack overview, requiring manual calculation. The displayed values now accurately reflect what is applied in combat.

  • Berimond Kingdom Advisor — Morale Bonus Clarity — The Advisor Token purchase popup now clearly communicates the morale bonus the Advisor provides, making it easier to understand its value before purchasing.

Gacha Equipment Recycling System

A new universal recycling currency has been introduced for Gacha equipment. Players can now sell duplicate or unwanted Gacha EQ items in exchange for this currency. During active Gacha event periods, the Master Blacksmith will offer a new unlimited package allowing players to convert this recycling currency back into event-specific Gacha currency. This system applies retroactively to Easter Gacha equipment and will be available going forward for all future Gacha events.

Improvements

Gem Storage Limit Rework

The way gem storage limits work has been fundamentally changed. Previously, an invisible per-gem-type cap could cause gems to be silently lost even when your total gem storage was not full. Going forward, players will no longer lose gems of any type as long as their total gem storage has not been reached. Relic gems and basic gems continue to share the same total storage pool.

Bug Fixes

Resource Trader Camp Not Appearing

Fixed an issue where the Resource Trader event camp was not displaying in the castle view, even when the event was active.

Raid Boss Tools Missing Target Information

Fixed an issue where certain Melee and Ranged weakening tools available during the Anointed Raid Event (ARE) Season 3 did not display which specific Raid Boss they applied to. The item descriptions now correctly indicate that these tools only work against the Volcanic Anointed Raid Boss.

Event Currencies Not Showing in Currency Overview

Fixed an issue where certain event currencies were not visible in the currency overview tab of the castle view, even when the player had obtained them.

New Content

Rift Raid — Boss #3: Ignareth, the Legendary Red Dragon

The third Alliance Raid Event boss has arrived. Ignareth rules the Scorched Dominion — a dragon unlike anything alliances have faced before. Her army is anchored by powerful melee and ranged defenders, and as the raid progresses, dormant dragon eggs hatch and evolve into increasingly dangerous units. The longer the fight goes, the harder it gets. She launches with 20 levels of difficulty.

New Rift Raid Units

Boss #3 introduces 6 new enemy units exclusive to the Scorched Dominion raid: 2 base defenders (melee and ranged) and a 4-stage dragon evolution chain. Dormant hatchlings grow into fully evolved dragons as waves progress — alliances must manage this threat actively.

New Boss #3 Wave & Support Tools

A dedicated set of new tools has been added for the Rift Raid, available exclusively during an active raid against Boss #3. Wave tools allow alliances to weaken the Dragon’s formidable defensive buffs, while support tools help control the unit spawn and mutation loop. Strategic tool composition will be key to defeating Ignareth.

New Unique Equipment Sets — Boss #3

Three new dragon-themed equipment sets (Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers) can be earned as exclusive loot from the Scorched Dominion raid. Boss #3 defeat loot boxes have been added, and the existing premium loot boxes have been updated to include the new Boss #3 equipment with rebalanced drop chances.

New Currency: Rift Shards

A new currency, Rift Shards, has been introduced. All Rift Raid equipment — from all bosses — can now be sold for Rift Shards instead of Coins. Rift Shards can be used to purchase specific equipment pieces directly from the Master Blacksmith trader, giving active Rift Raiders a meaningful way to work toward the pieces they need.

Improvements

Updated Victory Screens — All Rift Raid Bosses

The victory screen displayed when an alliance defeats a raid boss has been redesigned for all three bosses. The new artwork showcases the interior of each boss’s stronghold and treasure hoard, better reflecting the epic achievement it represents.

New App Icon & Store Visuals

The game app icon and store assets have been updated to reflect the arrival of the Legendary Red Dragon.

Bug Fixes

Attack Cost Cap not resetting daily

Fixed an issue where attack costs could incorrectly carry over from the previous day rather than resetting at the daily reset time. Affected players may have experienced higher-than-expected attack costs. This has been resolved.

Offer items not fully granted after purchase

Fixed an issue where certain offers — including some containing Khan boosters — could result in only a partial delivery of purchased items. Players who were affected were not receiving all items included in their purchase.

Rarity indicator missing in Rewards Hub for Boss #2 and Boss #3

Fixed a display issue where the rarity color indicator on the boss icon in the Rewards Hub was not showing correctly for Boss #2 (Silver) and Boss #3 (Orange).

Paragon Crafting dialog crash

Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the Paragon Crafting dialog under certain conditions.

Decorative Gacha dialog crash

Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the Decorative Gacha dialog under certain conditions.

Incorrect effect description on new equipment sets

Fixed an issue where certain new equipment sets displayed an incorrect effect description in the Commander tooltip when planning an attack.

Typo in crafting cancel dialog

Fixed a typo in the confirmation dialog shown when cancelling crafting in the Toolsmith, Refinery, and Dragon Hoard buildings (“cant” → “want”).

Balance Changes

Gem Removal Cost Reduced on Red Equipment

The cost to remove gems from red-tier equipment has been significantly reduced.

New Content

Imperial Patronage Event – New Hall of Legends 8 Appearance Construction Items

The Donation Event reward pool has been refreshed with a new set of Hall of Legends 8-themed Appearance Construction Items. These permanent items are available in three visual tiers — each tier clearly distinguishable at a glance and offering progressively stronger effects. Items are themed around the five district types (Military, Trade, Inner, Mead, and Food Districts) and are distributed across the Builder and Architect reward tracks. The themed reward sets will rotate with each Imperial Patronage Event run.

Grand Tournament – New Event-Specific Quests

New contextual quests have been added to the Grand Tournament quest board for the Alien Invasion and Bloodcrow Invasion events, giving players additional objectives and rewards when these events are active.
