The Ashen Tyrant

Beyond the known rifts, where the sky burns copper and the earth has fused into black glass, stands the Scorched Dominion — a citadel shaped not by centuries of construction but by dragonfire alone. Melted and rebuilt so many times it no longer knows how to fall. At its throne sits Ignareth, last of the first dragons — ancient not through hunger or rage, but through patience. Every scar marks a lesson. Every lesson made her harder to kill. When the Empire’s scouts found the rift to her domain, Ignareth had already been watching them. She knew they would come eventually. She had been waiting for centuries.

“You come armored in steel and pride. I have outlived mountains. Come, then — let me show you the difference.”

Her army fights like an extension of her will — melee lines impenetrable to blades, ranged ranks that shrug off volleys. But her true weapon is time. Deep within the Scorched Dominion’s burning core, Ignareth’s eggs lie dormant, each one an ember waiting for conflict to wake it. The moment battle begins, they stir. Hatchlings emerge small and vulnerable — but left unchecked, they grow. Each wave of fighting accelerates them from wyrm to drake to fully-grown dragon, hardened and lethal. The longer the raid runs, the worse it gets. Her eggs were already warm before you arrived.

She is the third and most dangerous boss in the Rift Raid Event — a 7-day monthly Alliance challenge where every member attacks a shared boss together, working through its walls, flanks, and courtyard toward a collective defeat. Your personal rewards scale with how much you contribute, and taking the boss down entirely unlocks defeat rewards for the whole Alliance.

To actually damage her, you’ll need to use the dedicated wave and support tools introduced with this boss — her defenders carry powerful melee and ranged defense buffs that neuter standard armies without them. Strip the buffs, keep up the pressure, and move fast enough that her brood doesn’t have time to grow into something your Alliance can’t handle.
