Vhalgar, once a scholar of forbidden arts, sacrificed his mortal soul to claim dominion over death itself and spent lifetimes reducing entire kingdoms to silence. Now he stands at the edge of your realm under a new name, the Mistress of Decay, with one purpose: to drown the Great Empire in the same stillness he left behind. This is not a raid. It is a reckoning, and the only answer is every lord and lady standing together.
This month’s Rift Raid Community Challenge runs alongside the active Rift Raid Event and asks every player across the community to contribute to a single, shared goal. Every unit of the Necromancer Boss your alliance defeats counts toward a global progress bar visible to all players. There are six milestones in total, and each one rewards every participating player directly in-game the moment it is reached. Here is what the community is fighting toward:
• Milestone 1 — 15B Boss Units killed: 100 Rift Coins, 10 Sasaki Offerings, 5 General XP Tokens (10k)
• Milestone 2 — 25B Boss Units killed: 200 Rift Coins, 10 General XP Tokens (10k), 20 Legendary Rift Coins
• Milestone 3 — 60B Boss Units killed: 200 Rift Coins, 5 Tizi Offerings, 50 Legendary Rift Coins
• Milestone 4 — 90B Boss Units killed: 250 Rift Coins, 5 Kaelrith Offerings, 80 Legendary Rift Coins
• Milestone 5 — 115B Boss Units killed: 250 Rift Coins, 15 General XP Tokens (10k), 100 Legendary Rift Coins
• Milestone 6 — 130B Boss Units killed: 2 Exalted Red Springs of Elation, 150 Legendary Rift Coins
Every kill your alliance lands counts toward all of this, so there is no contribution too small.
Before you charge in without a plan, understand what makes the Mistress of Decay genuinely dangerous. Every soldier your alliance loses in battle carries a chance of rising again and joining her forces. The longer the fight runs and the more reckless your attacks, the stronger her army becomes — built from your own fallen. Special tools can reduce that infection rate, but the real defense is coordination. Hit hard, hit consistently, and do not let the battle drag. Your Alliance General spawns the boss, and from that point every member can attack together, working through her fortress walls, flanks, and courtyard to grind down a shared health bar. Personal rewards scale with your individual contribution, and a full defeat unlocks a second wave of shared rewards for all who fought.
Beyond the global milestones, there is also an Alliance Leaderboard running in parallel. The top five alliances based on how far they progress through the Rift Raid — with ties broken by who reached that level first — will earn exclusive free shop offers for each of their active members at the end of the event:
