Some of you may have experienced connectivity and performance issues on the DE1 server earlier today. We are pleased to let you know that the server has since been restored and is running normally again. Thank you for your patience during this time.
We would also like to be transparent about the cause of the disruption. The performance issues were the result of a small number of players using unauthorized third-party programs, which placed significant strain on the server and affected the experience for the entire DE1 community. We have taken the necessary actions against the players involved and want to assure you that we take fair play seriously and will continue to act accordingly whenever violations of this kind are detected.
As a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused, all affected DE1 players will receive a small compensation package early next week. This will include 5 Wheel of Affluence Tickets. Please note that this compensation is exclusive to the DE1 server, as this was the only server impacted by the disruption.
