You've built castles.
Now build a legend.

The official Creator & Guardian Program for Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms. Film the battles, chronicle the strategies, guard the community — and be rewarded for it.

Two banners fly over the Empire

Every empire is built twice — once in stone, and once in the stories told about it. Some champions raise their banner in front of a camera and carry the Empire's name across the realms. Others hold the walls where the community gathers, keeping the peace and the players' trust. Different weapons, same war. Both paths carry the Empire's official seal — and both are rewarded like the champions they are.

The Chroniclers

Content Creators

Chroniclers film the battles, stream the sieges and write the guides that turn peasants into warlords. Create at your own pace, rise through three ranks, and receive monthly in-game rewards — for yourself and for the followers who march with you — plus a look at the Empire's plans before anyone else gets one.

Every champion starts equipped

Sworn in? Then this is yours — from day one, on both paths, at every rank.

The Armory

The Empire opens its vaults: official logos, artwork, renders and templates — yours to wield in thumbnails, videos, streams and guides. No more asking, no more guessing what's allowed.

Eyes in the throne room

Updates, events and sales reach your ears before the common folk hear a whisper. You plan your content while others are still reacting — sealed by oath, which is exactly why we can tell you.

A raven to the castle

No shouting into the void: a direct line to community management, answers from the people who actually make the game, and program news before it's posted anywhere else.

The royal seal

Official member of the Empire's program — a title you carry openly on your channels and in the community. Your audience knows you're the real thing, and so does everyone else.

Three ranks. Clear laws. No court intrigue.

The Chroniclers' path. Your following opens a rank, your content holds it. Nothing here is an obligation — these are simply the criteria each rank is measured by, and you create at whatever pace suits you.

Ranks are held, not owned. Every three months we look at all placements against exactly these criteria — moving up and moving down are both normal. Drop below a rank's criteria and you simply sit at the one that fits, after a full quarter's grace. Taking part is entirely voluntary: create when you feel like it, step back whenever you want, and if life gets busy just tell us and we'll pause things for up to 3 months.

The Guardians — keepers of the realm

Not every champion holds a camera. Guardians are chosen from the community and trusted by the Empire — they hold the walls so everyone else can play.

Voluntary, always. Being a Guardian is something you do because you enjoy it — there are no set hours, no schedules and no quotas, and you can step back or step away entirely at any time, no reasons needed. What we do ask for is neutrality: Guardians stay players, but when they act as Guardians they play no favourites, don't turn what they learn into an in-game advantage, and never make promises in the studio's name. Community giveaways go out through our official channels, with Guardians helping to organise them.

What we ask of our champions

Taking part is entirely voluntary — there are no duties, no schedules and nothing you owe us. These are simply the conditions that come with carrying the Empire's seal. The full version is in the Program Guidelines, which you agree to when you apply.

Confidentiality

Anything we share before it's public stays under embargo until we release it — and never a hint about upcoming sales or offers to any player, in public or in private. A leak ends a membership immediately.

Transparency

Advertising-disclosure law applies to you as a creator: where you've received something for a piece of content, it needs labelling — in Germany as "Werbung" or "Anzeige". We also like members to say they're part of the program and tag gifted items (#EmpireCreator, #Gifted).

Honesty

We never expect positive coverage — fair criticism is welcome. What matters is accuracy: speculation shouldn't be presented as fact and "leaks" shouldn't be invented. Your audience's trust is the whole point.

Using our assets

Logos and artwork are free to use in your content — just not on merchandise, not redrawn beyond resizing, and never in a way that suggests you speak for the studio.

Fair play

No cheats, bots, exploits, third-party tools or account trading. Found a bug? Reporting it beats filming it — responsible reports are appreciated, and sometimes rewarded.

If things go wrong

A word first, then a change of rank or a pause on rewards, and only then a parting of ways — you'll always know exactly what happened. Leaks, cheating, hate speech and harassment skip every step.

Three steps into the King's service

Same gate for both banners — you pick your path inside the form. Nothing is binding: you can stop at any point, and leaving later is just as easy.

1

Apply

Fill out the form — five minutes, no poetry required. Every application is read by an actual human and answered within 14 days.

2

Sign and onboard

Sign the NDA, receive your rank and open your welcome package. The NDA is the one piece of paper involved — it's what lets us share unreleased information with you at all.

3

Create and climb

Publish, grow, rise through the ranks — at your own pace, whenever it suits you. Every criterion is public, so you always know how far the next rank is.

Questions from the tavern

Everything future Chroniclers and Guardians tend to ask before they join. The full version is in the Program Guidelines — this is the short one.

Joining the ranks

Do I need a big channel to join?

No. The gate opens at 50 YouTube subscribers, 10 Twitch followers or 500 TikTok followers — or comparable reach on Facebook or Discord. Every legend started small. The program is built to grow with you.

How old do I have to be?

18 or older. If you're under 18, we need the written consent of a parent or legal guardian with your application. Guardians must be 18+ without exception — the watch handles conflicts, confidential information and player data.

How do I apply, and how long does it take?

Only through the form on this page — applications sent by DM, email or Discord aren't processed. Every one is read by an actual human and answered within 14 days. If we decline, you're welcome to apply again after 3 months.

Is there anything that disqualifies me?

Your game accounts must be in good standing — no active sanctions for cheating, exploiting or breaking the Terms of Service. That applies when you apply and for as long as you're a member.

I build wikis, write guides or make tools — no videos. Can I join?

Yes. Wiki maintainers, guide writers and tool builders are full members. Since follower counts mean little for that kind of work, we place you based on the monthly traffic and community relevance of what you build.

How do I become a Guardian?

Same form, different path — just pick the Guardian option. We look for players 18 or older who know the game well and have been constructive members of the community for at least 3 months. There are no set hours or shifts: Guardians give what time they can, whenever it suits them.

Ranks and rewards

Is this a job? What am I signing up for?

It's not a job and it isn't employment — there's no contract of work, no set hours, no schedule and no one telling you what to make or when. You take part because you enjoy creating for Empire or looking after the community, and the in-game rewards are our way of saying thank you, not a wage. Do as much or as little as you like, pause whenever you need to, and walk away at any time without giving a reason.

What do I actually get?

Every member gets the base package: official assets, early insights and member status. On top come monthly in-game rewards for your rank — one part for your own account, one part to share with your community. They grow with every rank, and hitting growth milestones brings one-off extras. What exactly lands in each rank is something we walk you through when you join.

Can I lose my rank?

Ranks are held, not owned. Every three months we look at all placements against the public criteria — moving up and moving down are both normal, and neither is a judgement on you. Drop below a rank's criteria and you get a full quarter before anything changes, then simply sit at the rank that fits.

What if real life gets in the way?

Life comes first, always. Tell us and we'll pause things for up to 3 months — illness, exams, a new job, whatever it is — and those months don't count towards your rank criteria. If we hear nothing for three months we'll quietly close the membership, and you're welcome to come back whenever you like.

Can I sell, trade or raffle the items I receive?

No. Everything granted is bound to your account and can't be transferred — items may never be sold, traded or exchanged for anything of monetary value. Sharing them with your community is a different matter — that's exactly what the giveaway share is there for.

Can I stream on your official channels?

From Rank II upward, yes. We share or co-host your streams on our channels, usually tied to updates, events or sales — and where it fits, we put up an extra giveaway for your audience on top of whatever you already have to share. Scheduling runs through community management.

The oath and the laws

Why do I have to sign an NDA?

Because we share unreleased information with you — updates, events and sales before they're public. The NDA is what makes that possible. Everything stays under embargo until we publish it or release it to you, and the date is always communicated with the material. One rule has no exceptions: never hint at upcoming sales or offers to any player before they're public, not in content and not in private messages. A leak — intentional or careless — ends the membership immediately.

Do I have to say nice things about the game?

No. We don't require positive coverage — fair criticism is welcome and useful. What we do require is accuracy: don't present speculation as fact and don't invent "leaks".

How should I label my content?

Two separate things. The legal one: advertising-disclosure law applies to you directly as a creator, so content you received something for generally needs marking — in Germany as "Werbung" or "Anzeige". Worth a quick look at the rules where you live, since they're yours to follow, not ours to enforce. The friendly one: we like members to mention they're part of the program and tag gifted items with #EmpireCreator or #Gifted, so your audience can see where things came from.

What can I do with your logos and artwork?

Use them freely in your Empire content — thumbnails, videos, streams, guides. Don't modify the logos beyond resizing, don't put them on merchandise, and never present yourself as an employee or spokesperson of Goodgame Studios. "Official program member" — yes. "Goodgame says…" — no.

I found a bug or an exploit. What now?

Report it to us — don't publish it, don't use it, don't build a video around it. Cheats, bots, automation, third-party tools and account trading are off-limits entirely. Responsible reports are appreciated, and can be rewarded.

What happens if something goes wrong?

We talk to you first and tell you exactly what happened. After that it would be a change of rank or a pause on rewards, and only in the end a parting of ways. Severe cases — leaks, cheating, hate speech, harassment, illegal content — skip the steps and end the membership straight away.

Who owns the content I make?

You do — you keep all rights to your content. You simply grant us the right to share, embed and re-post your public Empire content on our official channels, always with credit to you. Our assets remain ours, and your licence to use them ends with your membership.

Can I leave?

Any time, with a short message — no notice period, no reasons needed, no hard feelings. Rewards simply stop, confidential material gets deleted, and the confidentiality part carries on afterwards. Leave on good terms and you're welcome back whenever you want.
