For as long as anyone can remember, the Lions and the Bears have met on the fields of Berimond to settle their feud tower by tower. With the next update, that battlefield changes shape in The Battle for Berimond, reforged. Camps grow larger and new troops take the field. The map splits into lanes that reward different ways of fighting, while the Berimond Armorer brings a deeper arsenal. Here is everything that changes.

Your Camp

The Large Tent and the Small Tent gain levels 5 to 10, purchased with rubies, raising the capacity of a fully built camp to 500,000 troops. Levels 1 to 4 stay exactly as you know them, so the early stages of your camp remain unchanged for every commander. The Advisor’s morale bonus now grows with your camp: instead of a flat 200, it grants 20% of the morale from your morale buildings and never drops below the 200 it gives today. The auxiliary troop buildings gain levels 6 to 10 for both capacity and recruitment speed, lifting auxiliary capacity to 50,000. Auxiliary troops remain a dependable defensive option and can also take on the early towers.

New Troops and Supplies

For the first time, mead and beef troops can march into Berimond. Their supplies are found in Berimond itself. The central lane towers now drop mead and beef in the same amounts as food, while the Berimond shop offers packages of both. The Hunter’s Camp keeps their appetite in check, and its info dialog now shows its full effect: food, mead and beef consumption reduced by 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90% across its five levels. Should your supplies run low overnight, the shop packages are there to keep your troops in the field.

The Three Lanes

The map is now split into three lanes. The two side lanes keep their current tower balancing and focus on Gallantry points and titles, though they now award fewer rubies than before. The central lane is where the hardest fighting waits. Its towers scale in difficulty the way Nomad camps do, growing tougher step by step until the final towers match the strongest Nomad tier. In return, the central lane holds most of the rubies Berimond has to offer, more than today’s towers, along with the mead and beef your new troops need.

The Berimond Armorer and New Tools

The general Armorer no longer appears in Berimond, leaving the Berimond Armorer as the one place to buy tools in the kingdom. It now carries the former Bestseller Shop content alongside every existing Berimond tool, with reworked prices. Its package line-up can also change from one run to the next. Eight new tools join its shelves: Crested and Crowned versions of the Claw, the Paw Ladder, the Fanged Bridge and the Berimond Shield. The Crested tools carry an increased Gallantry points bonus and the Crowned tools a massive one.

Titles and Rewards

Your Gallantry counts for more with nine new titles to earn, among them Battle Marshal, Warlord, Conqueror, Battle Sovereign and Herald of the Battle. They bring new effects such as a beef production boost, while the Top 20 and Top 10 titles unlock new level 11 melee and ranged troops. Gallantry titles keep their lasting effects beyond a single run. The activity and ranking rewards have been refreshed as well, including a new decoration: the Exalted Pool of the Berimond kings.

Offers

Alongside the shop packages for mead and beef, the booster and tool offers in the shop are being reviewed to fit the new Berimond. Some commanders will also find a personal Berimond offer, tailored to their progress in the event.

The Road Ahead

With these changes, the Berimond Kingdom becomes the heart of the fight between Lions and Bears. In Goodgame Empire, this also means that Berimond Invasion, one of our older events, will gradually be phased out so that our full focus can go to the Berimond Kingdom. Over time, the Berimond Kingdom will also move to a once-a-month schedule. The reworked titles and combat balancing make it easier to hold your titles over a longer period and to build up your points across a longer stretch of time.

Whether you fight for the Lions or the Bears, whether you hold the side lanes for Gallantry or push down the central lane for its riches, the reforged Berimond has a place for you. Prepare your camp, gather your troops and be ready when the next update arrives. We will see you on the battlefield.
